MAGNET has supported ~70 trainees at the undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral level over its six-year duration. The first trainees joined the program in September 2012, and the last trainees began in September 2017. They are from diverse backgrounds and have worked on a suite of exciting projects with applications to global climate, metal contamination, ore deposits and volcanic eruptions.

MAGNET graduates are equipped with technical and professional skills that improve job readiness, facilitate transition to the workforce and expand their possible career trajectories. Trainees who have completed the program have gone on to pursue careers in industry and further research and teaching opportunities via faculty and postdoctoral positions.

We wish all our trainees the best!
